Statement of Faith
1. Belief in God
-
"We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfect in love, holiness, and justice. God is sovereign, all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. He is worthy of all glory, honor, and worship."
-
Scripture References:
-
Deuteronomy 6:4: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD."
-
Matthew 28:19: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
-
Isaiah 40:28: "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding."
-
2. Belief in Jesus Christ
-
"We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with authority. He was crucified, died, and was buried, and on the third day, He rose again, conquering death and sin. Jesus ascended into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us. We believe in His personal return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead."
-
Scripture References:
-
John 1:1, 14: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
-
1 Corinthians 15:3-4: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
-
Acts 1:9-11: "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight... this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
-
3. Belief in the Holy Spirit
-
"We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who is fully God. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers, enabling them to live holy and fruitful lives. The Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church and leads believers into all truth."
-
Scripture References:
-

And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal."
-
4. Belief in the Bible
-
"We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Scriptures are sufficient for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
-
Scripture References:
-
2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
-
2 Peter 1:20-21: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
-
Hebrews 4:12: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
-
5. Belief in Salvation
-
"We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not by works, but is the gift of God. All who repent of their sins and trust in Christ as Savior are justified by His blood, adopted into the family of God, and receive the gift of eternal life. We believe in the necessity of personal repentance and faith for salvation, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer."
-

-
John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
-
6. Belief in the Church
-
"We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. The Church is composed of all who have been redeemed by Christ and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. The mission of the Church is to glorify God by making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Christ has commanded. We believe in the importance of local congregations, where believers gather for worship, fellowship, and service."
-
Scripture References:
-

-
7. Belief in Humanity
-
"We believe that all people are created in the image of God, with inherent dignity and worth. However, through Adam's sin, humanity fell into a state of sinfulness, which separates us from God and brings about spiritual death. We believe that all people are in need of redemption, which is available only through Jesus Christ."

-
8. Belief in the End Times
-
"We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the resurrection of the body and the final judgment, where the righteous will inherit eternal life, and the wicked will face eternal separation from God. We look forward to the new heavens and the new earth, where righteousness dwells and God will dwell with His people forever."
-
Scripture References:
